- Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC)– it is the most common transparent plastic and is widely used. It has excellent mechanical properties and impacts strength. - Liquid Silicone Rubber- it is a transparent elastomer of low viscosity. It is mostly used in car headlamps, consumer goods, and in much medical equipment.
- Polyethene- after PVC, is the most widely and commonly used clear plastic. It is used in producing films, laminates, tubes, etc.
- Ionomer Resin- it is known for its outstanding clarity, lightweight, and toughness. It is mostly used in making luxury transparent products and artifacts.
