Rather Gate and the future media

Just a quick thought. In the wake of the fall of the house of Rather, I thought that maybe it is time for a daily blog webcast. Someone could go through the best of the web, Instapundit, Volokh, Belmont Club etc and pick out the lead stories, then once a day record a 20 min segment for streaming.
It wouldn't have to be fancy. Indeed, It could be some ugly bald guy sitting in a folding chair with a laptop, but it could very well trump anything on TV in both content and substance.
So maybe the revolution will not be televised, it will be webcast by people in their pajamas.
