With Summer approaching to an end I wanted to keep the Summer spirit alive. Having no plans for holidays in the present, I needed something to cheer up. It was Tropical Vibes drinks; with their vibrant, funky colours and delicious flavours, I was ecstatic to forget about the rainy day in the air and go to the warmer climate of the beach somewhere.
The drinks arrived rolled into a single piece of recyclable cardboard packaging, the new eco-friendly netting-type bubble wrap, which is just as effective but environmentally friendly. The drinks were laid on a mattress of cardboard netting and additional protection on top of the recycled container that was taped together. It’s very secure, and it’s fantastic for businesses to use the packaging they have from other items often when they ship their goods. The drinks were delivered in excellent and in perfect condition. There was perhaps excessive packaging; however, you cannot be too cautious as the drinks come packaged in glass containers.
The Tropical Vibes drinks are provided through British firm JRP Foods, based in Mayfair in London. The entire information they provide is printed on the label should you wish to connect with JRP Foods. Their website is fun, bright and extremely user-friendly, and they list all the delicious drinks they make.
The company also has all their original flavours: Cocolada, Pineapple and Coconut, Mango and Carrot, Exotic Fruits, Sorrel and Ginger, Fruit Punch, Soursop, Pineapple and Ginger and, lastly, Guava as well as Lychee. Additionally, they have a selection of zesty lemonades: Grape Glow Lemonade, Sassy Strawberry, Paradise Punch, Triple Melon and Ocean Blue. In total, 18 flavours! Two flavours are available in a 1-litre container Mango and Carrot, Punch or Mango and Carrot for an additional dose of tropical flavour.
On every bottle is the bright and colourful label with the image of what’s inside and what’s in store for your palate, along with the transparent Tropical Vibes printed across so it’s easy to spot when you’re in a hurry and require some quick summer fix. What’s more, on every bottle is a brief description of the contents. It’s not the boring, dull summary you’re accustomed to, such as “Ride the waves by drinking Ocean Blue. A refreshing citrusy flavor and refresh yourself like a boss”. It’s a nice addition, and my niece of 9 years thought it was amazing and was eager to taste it, which, in turn, makes me look cool for letting her try an opportunity to taste it! It also includes the usual ingredient list and nutritional info, along with instructions on making the most of the bottled-up portion of summer. It is best served chilled. Store in a dry, cold location and shake well before using.
Then on to the Guava and Lychee, one of the original flavours. A lovely pink colour, however, I’m going to say that that was my least favorite. However, that’s only because I’m not a big fan of the lychee. As per the description, it was sweet but not overly sweet like previously and was very fruity! You’ll also get an aftertaste of Guava, so it’s a refreshing drink to enjoy on a hot day.
Fruit Punch was packed with fruity delight, and it didn’t let me down. I could drink up to gallons of this drink and not be bored. It’s an excellent alternative to cordial or fizzy soda drinks. The flavourings used in all drinks are mainly concentrated; however, they do not taste and are not heavy or excessive for you.
The bottle was opened with Pineapple and Coconut. The aroma immediately transported me to when I was on the sandy beach in Thailand drinking a Pina Colada or three. It gave me an idea to create some at home and test whether the Tropical Vibes bottle of wonder could be used as an ingredient in a mixer. Later, a little white Rum in a glass was added to the Tropical Vibes and gave it the chance to stir.
Tropical moods are readily available at Asda, Morrisons and Amazon, in addition to some other local shops and online stores you can purchase these items from. They’re an affordable price for the pleasure that you will experience, and I would recommend giving these a try. They’re small enough to fit into your purse and perfect for summer picnics, barbecues, and cocktail parties. Just make sure to add the spirit you prefer!
